Resource Directory

Cover of 2020 Directory of Resources

The Directory of Resources for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities in Wake County is the most comprehensive, carefully researched, objective, and trusted senior publication in the Triangle area. It brings together in one publication information about the full range of services and programs available to older and disabled adults in Wake County, North Carolina.

Businesses do not, and cannot, pay to be included in the Directory. Instead, we attempt to provide the most complete, unbiased information available. On the other hand, we rely on community partners to help us underwrite the cost of printing the publication -- we thank all of the sponsors of the 2021 Directory! If your organization is interested in being a sponsor of the next edition of the Directory of Resources, please contact Scott Waterhouse, Director of Information Services, at 919-713-1564 or via email.

The Directory of Resources is always free.

Digital version of the Directory:

You can download a PDF version of the current year's Directory here. This is an interactive PDF, so you can click a page number in the Index or Table of Contents to go to that page. Website links in the document are live and will take you to the referenced websites. The document is viewable on tablets and smart phones, though external website links may not work on those devices. Please note that this is a large file and it may be very slow to download for users on slower connections.

Other resources:

The Directory of Resources includes a Reference Section with many useful checklists and materials to assist with decision-making. Most of these materials are available as separate, smaller, documents on our resource lists page.

Even more detailed information about services is available via our searchable Community Resource Directory.
