The Geriatric Specialty Clinic is part of the University of North Carolina Hospitals and assists older individuals with complex medical, social, and functional problems. Geriatricians within this clinic provide comprehensive care with a focus on quality of life, family support, and helping patients live as well as they can for as long as they can. During the initial visit, patients and their families are evaluated by a geriatric physician who can provide either consultative or ongoing primary care. Geriatric pharmacist, social worker, psychiatry, and neurology also available.
