Program Details
Eligibility: Must be a resident of Cary or Morrisville, or have a child in a Cary or Morrisville public school. Applicants for financial assistance must provide proof of identity and residence.
Fees: None
Intake Process: Call to make appointment for financial or food assistance. Accepts same-day appointments for those in very urgent need.

Program Description:
Nonprofit agency providing food and crisis financial assistance, scholarships and training to residents of Cary and Morrisville. Clients may be served with crisis assistance one time within a 12-month period. Food pantry for Cary and Morrisville residents only, up to 4 times per 12-month period. Also provides loaned medical equipment such as walkers, crutches, canes, or bedside commodes at no charge when available. Also provides educational and childcare assistance programs: adult educational aid, camps, short-term day care aid, etc. Also has The Dorcas Training Center to assist anyone in need of job coaching, vocational advising, resume writing assistance or other job search related assistance. No appointment is required to use the training center and is offered Monday-Friday, 10am-1pm.
