Program Description:
NeedyMeds is a 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission of helping people who cannot afford to pay for their medications. Maintains a website with information on patient assistance programs for prescription drugs, and other sources of help for those who cannot afford their medical care including disease-based assistance programs, a list of free/ low cost clinics and much more. Can look up drug by name and find out what company makes it, and what the rules are for patient assistance programs. Also offers a prescription drug discount card which can be downloaded and printed out, or can be obtained as a mobile app. No income or other restrictions for the discount card.
